Description
Travel with the driver on board unit 158714 working the scenic 08.55 Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Filmed during the wonderful spring weather Scotland experienced in May 2024.
This popular picturesque route leaves Inverness and passes over the Caledonian canal at Clachnaharry before heading for Dingwall where it branches off for the run west to Kyle of Lochalsh.
After the climb up to Raven Rock the line passes through Garve and Achnasheen before running along the beautiful coastal section of Loch Carron.
Finally, after passing the penultimate station at Plockton, journey’s end is the scenic Kyle of Lochalsh with its fine views, where rail services once connected with the car and passenger ferry to the Isle of Skye.
