Description

We join the driver at Swansea on board a new Intercity Express Trains 802 class with the 14.29 Swansea to London Paddington Great Western Railway service, in June 2019.

The journey takes us from Swansea, past the steel works at Port Talbot and through Bridgend before arriving at the Capital of Wales Cardiff. At Cardiff the scene is changing with the electrification of this route to London. We head through Newport before passing through the Severn Tunnel and stopping at Bristol Parkway.

At Bristol Parkway the Pantograph is raised and we speed to London through Swindon, Didcot, Reading, before arriving at London Paddington.
