This short programme serves as an introduction to Peco’s popular Driving Experience days on the Beer Heights Light Railway.

Instructor Derek Boswell explains what is involved and how participants get “hands on” with special training steam locomotive ”JOOLS”.
Every session is adjusted to cater for the participants experience. Those with little or no experience are thoughtfully guided through the basics, whilst those with experience get the opportunity to receive more in depth tuition and guidance.

Courses are available on steam, diesel and electric motive power.

The programme includes a full circuit cab view of this most impressive 7¼” railway accompanied by an informative narration.
