Description

In this programme we follow on from Steam World archive volume 35 with more 8mm cine films from the superb Derek Phillips collection, covering the more Northern lines in North West England.

This Volume Includes

Carnforth to Barrow line, including the Waterslack Quarry services.
The Little North Western line from Carnforth to Settle Jc which features both freight and passenger services, including the Giggleswick pick up freight.
The Settle & Carlisle route. Onboard the Solway Ranger Railtour. West Coast Mainline from Lancaster to Shap and also the Windermere branch from Oxenholme. The Stainmore line around Stainmore summit.
