With a huge variety of motive power featuring different liveries working in dramtic

scenery, Switzerland has always been one of the most interesting rail networks in

Europe. This exciting programe includes:-

Rhaetian Bahn – The Bernina Express from St Moritz to Tirano including stunning Winter shots around Ospizio Bernina, the Brusio Circular Viaduct and street running at Le Prese.

Freight and passenger services around Filisur including the Landwasser viaduct and the impressive viaduct on the Davos branch at Wiesen. Freight and passengers on the Gotthard line around the Pianotondo loops, Goschenen and Wassen.

The Furka-Oberalp Railway heading down into Andermatt and also the branch to Goschenen to connect onto the Gotthard line.

Also the Furka car train from Realp to Oberwald and also some Glacier Express services.

The Interlaken area – looking at Faulensee and Interlaken Ost, also the steam paddle boats.

The Bernese Oberland Railway from Interlaken to Grindelwald, also a look at the Wengernalp Bahn at Grindelwald. We stop at Wilderswil to see the Schynige Platte Railway with its 100 year old electrics.
